What is Rank.top Valor?
Valor is a currency managed by the Rank.top bot. Each server has its own balances, earning rates, and role shop. Valor earned in one server stays there; members cannot transfer it to another server.

How to earn Valor
There are three ways to earn Valor. Server owners choose which methods to enable and how much each pays, so rewards may differ between servers.
Vote for your server
Vote for your server on Rank.top to earn Valor. The server owner sets the reward per vote.

How to spend Valor

What you can offer in the role shop
You can list up to 10 roles, each with its own price and duration. Start with a few affordable options and add higher-priced roles for members who want to save up.
- Prices: Set each role to cost between 1 and 10,000 Valor.
- Duration: Choose a permanent role or a duration of 1-365 days.
- Shop management: Reorder roles by dragging them and edit prices in place.
- Selection: Add up to 10 roles from your Discord server.

For server owners: setting up Valor
Set up earning rates first, then price your roles around them. Think about how long a member should need to save for each reward.
Step 1: Set earning rates
Open your server settings on Rank.top and select the Valor tab. You can adjust:
- Voting rewards: 1-100 Valor per vote.
- Daily reward: 1-100 Valor per claim.
- Work command: A minimum and maximum reward within 1-100 Valor, plus a cooldown of 2-24 hours.
Step 2: Create your role shop
Switch to the Role rewards tab to create your role shop:
Load your roles
Click Add role. Rank.top fetches the available roles from your Discord server.Choose a role
Select a role to offer. Roles managed by bots or integrations cannot be sold.Set a price and duration
Choose a price of 1-10,000 Valor. Set the duration to 0 for a permanent role or 1-365 days for a temporary one.Add it to the shop

Best practices
Do
- Include an affordable first reward.
- Use temporary roles to let members try a perk.
- Explain what each role includes.
- Let members know when you add new roles.
Don't
- Set prices without checking how long they take to earn.
- Sell roles with moderation or admin permissions.
- Change prices so often that members cannot plan ahead.
- Skip checking that the bot can assign your shop roles.

List your server

Frequently asked questions
Is Valor free to use?
Yes. Valor is free to use for servers listed on Rank.top.
Can I transfer Valor between servers?
No. Each server has a separate Valor balance. You can only spend Valor in the server where you earned it.
What happens if someone leaves and rejoins the server?
Their Valor balance is saved because it is tied to their Discord user ID. Roles purchased with Valor are lost when they leave.
Can I give Valor directly to members?
Yes. Server owners can use /admin to add or remove Valor from a member's balance. Apply adjustments fairly and explain them to members when needed.
What permissions does the Rank.top bot need?
The Rank.top bot needs the Manage Roles permission to assign purchased roles. In your Discord server settings, place its role above every role you offer in the shop.
